The annual Royal Aeronautical Society (SA Division) Sir Ross & Sir Keith Smith dinner had special significance in 2019 as it was held on 10 December – 100 years to the day that the Smith crew landed in Darwin. With South Australia’s Chief Entrepreneur (and EFC2019 Committee member) Jim Whalley delivering the keynote, it was a wonderful evening of commemoration and reflection. The Governor of South Australia, His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le, and Mrs Lan Le were also in attendance.
