The Darwin Aviation Museum celebrates the city’s role as an aviation epicentre in the golden era of pioneering flights, from the Great Air Race and the epic flight to other highly-celebrated arrivals by the likes of Bert Hinkler and Amy Johnson – the first female pilot to fly alone from Britain to Australia in 1930.
